Time and time again, the folks at Charleston Wine + Food designate an entire year in preparation for the annual food festival here in Charleston, SC. The ending of one successful festival year begins the brainstorming for the following year.
The theme for the coming festival is “Where else but Charleston?" Focusing on historical and unique aspects that Charleston has to offer — because after all where else but Charleston, can you wine and dine in the midst of a beautiful downtown surrounded by culture in a city ranked #1 numerous times?
No where else, but here!
Not only does Charleston Wine + Food offer a mouth-watering experience and a large economical impact for Charleston but also a charitable contribution to the RISE (Raising Individual Skills for Employment) Program at ONE80 Place. These students help prepare nearly 500 meals a day for ONE80 place and learn valuable skills to take them into their future careers.
Through my capstone class at the College of Charleston I have been able to work alongside these talented and innovative people. As a Charleston Wine + Food Fellow I have also been able to see what great ideas and events they all have cooked up for this year’s festival— and trust me you wont want to miss it.
